Paul & Susan Poem by Hasan Al Mahmud

Paul & Susan

Rating: 5.0

To go to USA
One of my great opportunities
And to get your house to live
One of the great stories
The seven days living there
Is the best memories

You cared me
Too, listened me
You did a lot
Further, what I thought
I gave you nothing
But, much I brought

You gave time
Even, you were busy
You gave a room
This was full of Cozy
Truly, you gave a lot
Nothing was clumsy

What can I say for house?
Seven days I was in
I was fascinated with the prettiness
It was a paradise in a little cabin
Even I can feel the breeze
It waves still in my brain

What a beauty I saw there
Your house is on the hill
Its roads with green sceneries
Still I’m there I feel
It’s more than Wordsworth’s house
To describe it I don’t have more skill

I love your discussion
And the way you talk
I miss your driving
With me, even your walk
I enjoyed your company
Too, time, with all you folks

My dear friends
Paul and Susan
You loved me
As a guest and as a son
You are the best of all
And you are my Jaan
