Paying Homage To The Heavens. Poem by GabeOji Deklerk

It began this way on a day
When with eyes glittering i did see the heavens sway
Then the clouds opened as if to welcome the rain
And they i was standing with a face vainly insane.
Renewing, revealing, renouncing, repenting, my thoughts did mix
And it did center on the end's coming and a tem.reign of the six six six.

Then i knew I had no time to delay
Then i knew i had to my sins decay and righteousness replay
Then i knew death won't be felt even whether everyone decides to die that day
All will be mere child's play, and the devil will plat them as puppet's do play.
The clock ticks, tick, tick, tick, what you have to do, do quick, quick, quick, today.

Today I'll return four folds to those I'VE extorted
So did Zacchaeus say after Jesus retorted
What is your resolution to do today? do think
Today I'll kneel to the heavens and to my sins sink
For i know God will erase my past stories with the book of life's ink.

C'mon do not waste precious time
For it flees in and out of prime
Pay a homage to the heavens
Pour out a repentant heart in and out of all seasons
Let the world know you no longer for who thy was
Let the heavens see you now present for who will be thus
And though it lies inevitable, that you carry your cross
The heavens will crown you, if you walk with your cross
If we walk with our crosses, crosses upon crosses to heaven we'll cross.
