Peace, it's a sound
Peace, it's a whisper
Peace, it's a beautiful song

Peace, so subtle yet a wave of the ocean
Intangible, yet more tangible than tangible

We seek money, but what we truly seek is Peace
We seek love, but what we truly seek is Peace
We seek attention, but what we truly seek is Peace

The longing is for peace
The hard work is for peace
The quest is for peace
The struggle is for peace

At the end of it all
All we truly need is so much peace that money cannot buy
Peace is all we seek

That peace that surpasses all understanding
Only Jesus gives such refreshing peace.
