Paul, Welcome to Poem Hunter. This appears to be the first poem that you have posted on this site. Looking forward to reading many more of yours in the future! I'm a pen man myself. I even have a poem called Pen Man. Actually, it's in Portuguese, so the title is 'O Homem da Caneta', but I do supply the English translation with it. I once read a definition of optimist as a person who does a crossword puzzle with a pen. I actually do that. That doesn't mean I make no mistakes. I do. Anyway, once again, welcome!
