Glittering ice upon the branches,
Dripping on the ancient soil.
What used to be a great forest.
Full of giant ferns turned to oil.
Dragon flies wings four feet long.
We find the mysteries in the peat.
The Pennsylvania I love and live.
Of the garden of eden beneath our feet.
What a place this once was and still here.
Wondrous caverns, wild life, lakes and deer.
Sometime when you wish, you were somewhere else alas.
I have been a world traveler, save your time and your gas.
Before you spend a lot of money on a trip far away.
There no place like Pennsylvania, perhaps you should stay.
