Penumbra Poem by Jewel Wilkes

Penumbra

Love bathe me in your silence
For I have forgotten
Forever underneath my skin
which i cannot feel

Without words I wish to know
Why the beautiful things are left alone
To simply brood and just forget
The sense to me is nothing yet

every sunrise, always shy
every moment, always bright
