Penumbra Poem by Alexandre Nodopaka

Penumbra

When it is too bright
I cannot see the light
And when the darkness
Is extreme I cannot

see the dark of dark.
I live a life of in-between
Flanked by two boundaries
That appear opposites.

I see when the light
Is not too bright
I see when the light
Is not too dim.

I see just right
when my frame of mind
is in-between
the righteous and the corrupt.
