and full illumination,
cast by Earth,
the Moon,
during an eclipse.

caramba! caramba! caramba!
caramba! caramba! caramba!


partial lunar eclipse,
a portion of the Moon's disk
remaining within the
penumbra of Earth's shadow

the rest is darkened
by the umbra
grayish outer part

a sunspot.
