People Don'T Know

Things said around me,
no one thinks about
the feelings that come out.
Why do I try
to cover the tears
that show the fears locked inside?
I do so for reasons
known to all my friends,
the fears that come to me
are all within reason.
I'll try to leave it all behind
and be at your side
for this ride of life.
