Perfection Poem by George Aul

Perfection

Moonbeams dance across the water,
the night air hints of jasmine,
soft grass lightens our steps
as swans sing a love song,
your hand folded in mine...
never knowing where one stops
and the other begins;
a light breeze gently sweeps
your hair to the side,
my mind races with loving thoughts
as I turn to study your beautiful face,
reflected light flickers in your eyes
like a thousand fires around us,
your beauty stuns me,
your warmth comforts me,
your lips invite me...
the sweet taste of you,
the perfect night,
the perfect kiss,
the perfect you.
