Perfection Poem by Eyan Desir

Perfection

Rating: 3.1

Burning passion to succeed
Pushes one face to face
With the flower without flaws
There is no escape

Determination burns
Harder and harder one push
To grasp its golden palm

Continuously many fall
Short of pinching its beauty
Its beauty has always
Sat upon God's hand....

And close to mortal man.

This lines came into my mind after reading your poem...“The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.”
