Perfectly Imperfect Poem by Simon Olafsson

Perfectly Imperfect

Rating: 5.0

Insanity has multiple definitions.
For example the inability to differentiate between reality and dreams.
It's also defined by the ones who does he same thing over and over again hoping for a different outcome.

She's my undisclosed insanity.
When the reality becomes the dream and dreams becomes excessive time.
When feelings overcome rationality and the space between my fingers fit hers perfectly.
When love was lost and yet again found for the exact same reasons.

There are approximately 7.5 billion people in this world.
The chance of being remembered is one in a billion.
But I won't strive at being anyones something.
As long as I can be her singular everything.

It says that when we touch one another, the other persons heart waves will stream through your body and mind.
Through a single second, with a single touch.
She made me feel 7.5 billion moments at once.

The perfect painting isn't painted without flaws.
It's the imperfection that makes perfection.
And she's perfectly imperfect.

Time is infinite, even beyond our existence and the earth.
Within the seconds, the hours and days.
I'll always remember our little infinity
