Perpetually In Bloom Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Perpetually In Bloom

Observing the beauty of an orchid
painted upon a primed canvas
Brush strokes capture an essence
that never withers with sadness

To see the image blooming without
earthly ties… eternally alive
existing in a controlled atmosphere…
no need for nourishment to survive

The threat of a storm is of no concern
Transparent petals reflect golden rays
as tireless shades of white, purple,
and pink continue to receive praise

A lovely mental melody persists
as the sun sets… then reappears
not a note changes… as newness
persists each season of the year
