Petals On A Grave Poem by Timothy Kimmons

Petals On A Grave

Three petals
all that`s left

One she loves me
two she doesn`t

A pity
so pretty

The flower must die
without even a good reason why

I look to my feet
where the yellow petals lie

I take a seat
and begin to cry

Misfortune again
when did it begin

At birth
five or ten

And when will it end
where it began

With petals dropping to the ground
with tears in eyes
