Peter Pan Poem by Tinker Bell

Peter Pan

Peter Pan in the sky
he came to earth
tried to fly.

Took the stage
from the age of five.
Success caused him
to use a disguise.

Hid his fears
deep within.

Showed a world
filled with sin
how to be innocent
and guileless and pure within.

The child within
was so strong,
it carried him
through all the storms.

He faced many of those
in his life.
Personal demons
he had to constantly fight.

Loved innocent souls,
carefree and sweet
gave them happiness
in them, his joy was complete.

Misjudged, laughed at
every fault magnified.
This man, in death,
they now glorify.

A wonderful insight on the boy who never grows up. Thanks for the thought.
