Ph: Life: Damn Philosophy! Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Life: Damn Philosophy!

"Life's much too short to last for long, "
If I could sing 'twould be my song,
A tree that falls but no one hears?
I'll bet some creature there has ears!
A frog that jumps missed by a tree,
'Where sun don't shine, ' (1)Philosophy!

A cat is in a box that's locked,
Atom's decay could mean it's clocked! (2)
It might be dead but we can't see,
Alive or dead a mystery!
Which one is true, a quantum state,
Observing just determines fate.

Poet's Notes:
(1)'Where sun don't shine' is slang "for up yours! "
(2)To be "clocked' is to be hit in the head (or killed) !
