Photogenic Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Photogenic

With no one to take the picture,
We brought a stand and set the timer,
The seconds began to tick as we got in position.
Of all the outrageous things we did we became lost in the look of each others eyes.
We refused to take this moment anything but serious, putting fingers behind each others heads
Making bunny ears, using our eyes to undress our likeness.
The dilated prints shone under the sun our smiles.
Photogenic moments captured by everything but the camera
As we forgot to put the film in

Funny and lots of people used to forget the film but no longer. It reminds me of many happy times.
