Piano Black Poem by Rik Bertrand

Piano Black

The rhythm flows through the cool night's air,
And I lay upon the piano, without a seasoned care.
Vibrations from the keys touched down,
And it's the most beautiful, most soothing sound.

The piano black is Grand but slight,
Its music brings the world to light.
Words are sung by artist bright,
And love is felt throughout the night

I caress this instrument of my desire,
Its smooth body sets my heart on fire.
And when it's played and set alive,
The music blends into my life.

Piano black, I love you so,
And with each day my love does grow.
Your keys of black and white play love,
And you are all that I think of.

My wild side sits on the piano black,
Because this is where the music's at.
Relaxed and blending with the sound,
To your music, I am truly bound.

Piano Black, Piano Black, let me lay upon you
Let me feel the vibrations, of music true.
Piano Black, Piano Black, you keep me in tune,
Every time you play a note, I feel my heart in bloom

REB (MARCH 2012) because it feels good to just lay atop a piano.
