Picked Quickly Excuses Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Picked Quickly Excuses

This World we live in,
Is much too big...
To sit and become sickened,
By others doing what they wish.
And doing this to know,
Without concern...
Of who it is they affect.
Done effectively and successfully,
To prove...
They could care less about it.
Without concern.
Or respect shown to give.
Yet will quickly choose excuses to pick.
As if their negligence,
Should be accepted to expect.
And...
Forgiven.

At these times and in this World,
We find ourselves living.
