I can no longer breathe
as you leave me
I was yours
you were mine
I thought it would be this way till the end of time
why didn't you believe me
I said I didn't do it
why won't you trust me
I said I love you
can't you read this pain upon my face?
my lungs are collapsing
holding my breath hoing you will stay
my heart is breaking
watching you crumble it in your hands
my eyes are burning
so many tears wish to leave my eyes
wishing we could compromise
a part of me will always be with you
as easily as you're leaving me
I could never do the same
and now I hold my head in shame
what have I done wrong
if you walk out that door
I can promise I'll be left in pieces on the floor
I'll eventually have to realize that
I won't feel your arms around me
holding me tight
I won't be looking in your eyes
all throughout the night
your smile won't be around
to get me through the struggles in my life
your sweet and tender kisses
I won't be able to look forward to them everyday
I love you but
let's get through
you're breaking my heart in two
whether you realize this or not
I'm already missing you
preparing myself for the worst
of this evil curse
