Olena Zelensky,
the First Lady of the Ukraine,
have probably saved her country
and her nation,
on the 20th of July 2022,
when she asked for weapons
and air defense systems,
urged bipartisan lawmakers
in the US Congress:

'I am asking for something now
I would never want to ask, '
she said concerned and worried
in the US Capitol,
while she presented a photo display
of children killed during Russian
missile strikes:

'I am asking for air defense systems
in order for rockets not to kill
children in their strollers...
and kill entire families.'

She said: 'I am asking for weapons,
weapons that will not be used
to wage a war on somebody else's land,
but to protect one's home
and the right to wake up
alive in that home.'

Olena Zelensky concluded her address:
'while Russia kills,
America saves,
and you should know about it.
We thank you for that.'

In an interview with the Russian
state media RIA Novosti,
Sergei Lavrov,
the Russian Foreign minister,
reiterated that that Russia
is set to take more than the Donbas:

'It's far from being only DPR
(Donetsk People's Republic)
and LPR (Luhansk People's Republic) ,
it is also Kherson Region,
Zaporizhzia Region and a number
of other territories.
And this process continues.
And it continues consistently
and persistently.'

According to retired four star
US general Jack Keane,
who is at the Institute
for the Study of War,
the Ukraine is going to get airplanes:

'There is no question,
they are going to get them.
It's a question of what airplanes.'

General Kearne said that
it will likely be
used F-15's, F-16's, A-10's,
the French Rafale,
the Eurofighter Typhoon
and Swedish Gripen.

The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle,
is a cropped delta wing twin-engine,
all-weather tactical
air superiority fighter
with a secondary ground attack capability.

The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon,
is a single-engine multi role
all-weather air superiority fighter.

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II,
is a twin-turbofan,
straight-wing, subsonic attack aircraft
that has been designed for
close air support (CAS)
to friendly ground troops to attack
armored vehicles, tanks
and enemy ground forces.

The Dassault Rafale
is a twin-engine canard
multi role fighter
intended for air-supremacy,
interdiction, anti-ship strike
and ground support.

The Typhoon Eurofighter,
is a twin-engine, canard delta wing
multi-role fighter,
that is designed to be very affective
as a dogfighter during combat.
It has been adapted for
air to surface strikes
and this aircraft is highly agile
at both supersonic and low speeds.

The Swedish SAAB JAS 39 Gripen
is a single engine,
canard delta wing multi role fighter,
that is very agile with advanced avionics.

Retired general Jack Kearne,
in a interview with Brian Killmeade
on Fox News was adamant
about the aircraft:

'I mean there has been
a major turn here,
because of what the Ukrainians
are asking for.
What is really taking place here, Brian,
is Ukraine is preparing
for a counter-offensive.
They know full-well the Russians
have expended themselves quite considerably
taking the eastern part
of the Donbas region.
The casualties have been staggering.
They have lost of hundreds of armor
and equipment in that process
and they are conducting
very limited attacks right now.
You can better describe
them as being stalled
on the part of the Russians.
This offensive that is being prepared
by the Ukrainians,
they have been working on it
for a number of weeks.
It will likely take some more
of a preparation phase
and certainly advanced weaponry
and obviously increased fighter
capability will be a factor in that.
Now the Air-force Chief of staff
also said Brian,
it will probably take two to four months
to make a transition from the fighter
you are flying to an American fighter.
Now it's a greater transition doing that,
than a American pilot transitioning
from a American airplane to another
but listen this is very reflective.
The United States is in the lead here, Brian.'

General Kearne said that the leaders
in the Pentagon were urging
their European friends to participate:
'I mean the Secretary of Defense
and the Chairman of the joint Chiefs
of staff are all in.
They had a meeting this week
of over forty nations
supporting the Ukrainians.
The rhetoric is pretty strong,
at those meetings,
the execution by some of our
European friends,
is not what it should be.
I know the leaders in the Pentagon
are frustrated by that
and are banging the table
to get more out of them,
(the Europeans.) '
