Playful Heart Poem by Melissa Coventry

Playful Heart

I won’t deny myself,
The truth of enjoying it
You exploding in my face,
From these mixed messages,
‘I seem to give’.
Nor can I stop myself,
Being the mysterious,
Heart, you unluckily,
Fell for, without looking twice.

I can choose to not touch,
Give all clear and mist-less,
Signals, a logical mind needs,
But my bags will be packed,
My love withdrawn,
And I? On my way once more…
Unless you see what I see,
My playful heart, just,
LOVES confusing yours…
