Playground Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Playground

Children at Play

When he slid down the slide
And upside down from the bar,
He laughed and laughed
So urgently.

When swinging from the swing
And throwing sand around,
He laughed and laughed
So urgently.

When working at work
Bent over his paperwork,
His light hearted heart
Beat quickly and happily.
