Playtime Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Playtime

Rating: 4.0

Two geese flew over the cuckoo's nest
they saw that the cuckoos were not dressed.
They had covered the lot of the stolen eggs
with their feathered tuxedos and pantyhosed legs.
So the geese circled back and let fly from behind
green gooseshit dropped down and the cuckoos went blind.
Now you know what will happen if you sit on the loot
and discard all your clothing like two cockoos that root. ***

*** child version would be, after the word clothing: 'down to one little boot'

Hi Herbert, Your poem is a lesson to all feathered friends! lol Rhymes nicely too. I would have preferred to geese to be swans, but I don't suppose you get many around your neck of the woods? Never count your chickens before they've hatched, springs to mind, oh yeah and goose and cook too. Very inspiring piece. All the best Smiling Tai 9 from me, but pressed 8 by mistake. Sorry.
