I am a poet of light
Darkness is not in my sight,
I won't let it be
Why live in misery
When the light of day is so bright.
Take a look out of the window so clear
See the beauty of the day so dear,
See the suns rays shining bright
And the mystery of the night
And don't live your life in fear.
Beauty and fun abound
If you're not afraid to look around
Don't let anyone beat you
Don't let them mistreat you
In your magical mind you are found.
So in my closing lines
I know that you might not like my rhymes
But I just don't see
Why you can't set yourself free
And look for the good in these times.
