Poetic Arteries Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Poetic Arteries

Rating: 4.3

It's not a restless mind
Pouring out the waters of poetry
It is a barren world
That prays for the truth
It's the silence within
That pours nothingness
Into the vase of life
It's the heart of Love
That scribbles sweetness
Into the fabric of existence
It's the beacon of hope
That creates the poet's message
It's the emptiness
That opens the river of passion
It's the sorrow
That holds the mirror closer
It's the joy
That removes the hideous scars of life
It's the sunshine
That illuminates the poem
It's the moonlight
That hides the nakedness of time
It's the Love
That inhabits the well of life
