Poetic Unification All In The Name Of Peace And Love Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Poetic Unification All In The Name Of Peace And Love

Seeking poetic prowess
Like a panther stalking his prey
Setting a trap for the would be victim
All in the name of my own fame

Yet, I begin to ponder
How great it feels to go beyond yonder
To not hunt but explore
Going above, never asunder

These eyes begin to glow
All on the unlimited wealth of creativities arrival
Staying but going all at once
Two as one and even more
Upon my own poetic survival

Poetry has been so great to me
So honoured to of written and quintile to read
An artistic view of us poets history
Nothing like all hearts, souls and minds expressed
Going beyond where we have never been before

Upon this very art I hold very dearly
To those I know that feel the same
Poetry makes us all full of sincerity
The true reward is expression
To be real and come strong
Now that is the true nature of fame

But who cares if one is famous or not
Poetry has never been all about that
The lesser known could be the best known
To those few who support
the poet in themselves to themselves the best

So this poem started about me
But it became all about us
The unsung in this fast food society
Wanting things quickly
So they never have to think long and hard ever again

But then know
We have each other
We will never stop growing
Our love for this art is sacred

Welcome to our many universes
So many profound differences unified
Serving a purpose for great expression
Upon voices louder
Than the present time we go beyond to explore

Our universes are endless
Never let those who are incomplete
Ever tear you down
Do what you feel is right
Express your muse at will

Power to us poets
Unsung at times
But that is not why we do this

So much freedom within our creativity
As one our universes run so fluent

We are lovers
We are philosophers
We are realist
We are imaginative souls

We are poets
Living, Dead
Our souls unified
All as one

Seeking poetic unification
All in the name of peace and love
