Dads! I really need that football!
That gaming zone is neat!
Ma! take me to the new mall,
that's opened on High Street!

Let's watch the latest movie,
It's intense and such a hit;
I really want that branded tee,
And a brand new cricket kit.

Ma and Dads, they nod and try,
To indulge my every whim;
Working hard all the while,
While I'm playing in the gym.

I'm growing slowly older,
I'm learning to be wise;
When they lean upon my shoulder,
I see the worry in their eyes.

Spending money all the time,
Won't buy you joy or peace;
Spending money all the time,
Your troubles will increase.

And so, I have another view,
I hope you will agree,
Now I ask my parents to,
Just spend some time with me!
