Poets Make Up Words
It may not be wideheard,
but given that nil natural
rhymes with 'temple',
it's probable
that a poet came up with
an alternative word.
Shakespeare rhymed it
with Dunsinane,
but probably long ere that,
a poet
had extra-named a temple
a fane.
