Planet over populated, people striving to survive
Politicians speak of solutions with no action taken
Remedies recommended for stopping global warming
Saving human life with hard decisions made
Creating flourishing home for future generations.
No long term action taken to reduce deadly threat
Global warming, pollution, making plastics,
Pouring human waste in the sea, fouling oceans
With life on foot, wing, water, facing extinction
Corruption of food-chain with seafood eaten.
Folly of humanity with no regard for blue planet
And inheritance of children yet to be born.
No species safe from bad human stewardship
Forsaking God's Garden of Eden, laying waste.
