Happiness in shades of gay
Close the blinds, turn away
Cause skies are dripping liquid grey
The clouds hide my suns rays
A somber silence steers the way
Where words are often unconveyed
The dinner course obstacles remain
Jaded words with a taste that fades
A smile stretched across his face
But was tainted by the discourse
Of course he wants to cheer
But for some reason I'm so coarse
And have to force myself to love him
I'm really a sad display
Of what being a parent really means
I want you to know son that I'm sorry
