Visions flash by, alive as the
trees
Of the beauty you held that
everyone sees.
It hasn't kicked in, it doesn't
seem real.
But the aching in our chest is
what we do feel.
Of the world on your
shoulders that's now left
behind
As we visit your home but no
you there to find.
Only echoes of laughter
ringing through our ears
That it was too soon, you had
so many years
You had so much strength and
the will that you kept
You touched the lives of
many,
like the tears we have wept.
But rainbows do follow
after the storm
And faith is the knowing
that angels keep you warm.
You remain in our hearts,
never to be far
Back in God's arms
is where you now are.
