Portrait

Whenever I ponder
The true meaning of 'friend'
A portrait of you
....Recurs again

Definitions are fleeting
And fade with time
Forever is the moment
When souls entwine

I'll cherish your portrait
As a keepsake of when
A moment of destiny
Defined the word...friend

Beautiful James, usually we have many associates but quite often only one true friend. To have true friendship is a blessing.
