Post Depression Blues 31/10/09

Rating: 5.0

Another look at you
And another crack forms
Upon the mirror as I
Realise the shallowness of the
Reflection staring back me
But alack! For all my venom
And all my pent up spite
I still want to take
One last bite.

My darling! Our apathy
Soars to the highest heavens
The debris of our spent infatuation
Litters the blackened skies
Twinkling, sinking, unthinking stars
My Dear! Our resentment shared
Spans across time itself, unrelenting
Undaunted
