***pounding-Pumping*** Poem by DAKOTA AUSTIN

***pounding-Pumping***

Rating: 2.7

Pounding pumping
Heart is thumping
Feel it beating
In my chest
Faster-faster
Rapid pulses
Trembling hands
Full of sweat
Head is aching
Body’s shaking
Tongue is tied
Can hardly speak
Clammy palms
Frozen feet
Wobbling knees
Blushing cheek
Stomach flip
He’s coming near
Get a grip
Nothing to fear
But all of this
Shall disappear
That moment we first kiss

wow, at first i thought it was about a bully or something, i love how you twisted it to keep the reader on the edge of their seat! Brilliant.
