Powder Hands Poem by Vision Ghost

Powder Hands

Rating: 5.0

How did I come to the point of this place?
Silenced with no expression upon my face
Only the lines of so many forgotten tears
When my life bore so many hurtful fears

They so keep me here now in this place
The door slammed shut as if I’m disgrace
No speaking to me unless I am conscious
For them to drug me till I am hopeless

I am something so different in this place
Sunken eyes left no love without a trace
I am dreaming and I fly over gold sands
Then wake me with their powder hands

Needles, pills they feed me in this place
To forever be silenced my voice of grace
Dawn blurring when all is understandable
From when I’m so now incomprehensible

I don’t recognise myself within this place
The walls of white and not much space
So cold are these floors when I stand
Though I cannot unbuckle my hand

Forever I cannot move in this place
Strapped and so held without a face
My tears flow in a silenced mockery
Of my once being left in treachery

Said they would help me in this place
Then my world went so black in brace
Of buckled straps and hurtful slaps
Nasty and they hurt me till I collapse

Will I feel love again in this place?
Nothing left to touch in this space
Treated as if I am the grouped phylum
Forever lost in a place called Asylum
