Power Of The Moon Poem by Herbert Dry

Power Of The Moon

The moon is full
and aglow
It's beam of light
reaching far
below

It's light only a
reflection of the
sun
It's beauty we cannot
shun

It doesn't have the
power to make it's
on light
Floating in the sky
to the eye a beautiful
sight

The moon has the power
on earth to make oceans
ebb and flow
Sitting on the beach
times moves
slow

Lovers kiss in the
moonlit night
Feeling the power of
of it's gentle
might
