Pray Poem by Leslie Alexis

Pray

Feeling lonely
Like no one is there
Say s prayer
And your God is here

Feeling ill and can't buy the pill
Say a prayer
And you'll be healed

Feeling broke, and it ain't no joke,
Eating dry bread and fraid you choke,
Say a prayer, believe he's there
Have no fear, know he can.
He's bigger than any and all man.
I tell you, just say a prayer
Your sorrow he'll take away and send a lending hand.
For from 2 loaves and 5 fishes, he had 12 left over pan.

End of month has come
Your money done,
And the bill collector running you down
Say a prayer:
Blessings will come down!

As A faith-man you sick
You know you weak
Any little thing knocking you down
And blowing you all around
You need help quick!
Say a prayer, you'll get a spiritual stick.

Pray every day and by the Fathers side you'll stay
Your sorrows he'll take away
You'll march on day by day
With the spirit by your side along the way
and the father with your reward waiting over yonder way

Just say a prayer
In Jesus' name,
And you'll step up to the top of the game,
All the same salvation you'll gain,
It's the reason he came, died and took your blame.
So just:
Say a Prayer
In Jesus' name
