Prayer Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

Prayer

Rating: 5.0

What will i ask for -my lord
Without realising what i have already got.
What will i ask for - my lord
Without realising what i realy haven't got.

Though i know-
Though i have been told-
Though i have read - that
The whole world is mine-
Without realising and feeling my ownership-
What will i ask for - my lord

Inspite of knowing that all is mine-
what is this resentment and discontent in me?
what is this iam asking for - my lord.

The moment i realise and feel my ownership
my resentment will go- and
my discontent too
what will i have then to ask for - my lord.

then you can ask according to His perfect will. it will be a very humbling attitude..surrender. A very nice treat for me in this cold evening, and thanks for this, Sam. hugs from here, Meggie
