Prayer: O God, Almighty… Poem by Dr John Celes

O God, the Light who made the sun for earth!
Who lives in light far brighter than all suns;
Whose face is luminous than many suns;
Who wants us to be holy like He is!

O God, whose love has created all things;
O God, whose love has made heaven and earth;
O God, whose love is unfathomable;
Have mercy all sinners, repentant.
sO God who cares for every creature made;
O God who has great plans for every one;
O God, who made all perfect in His eyes;
Remove the evil that afills the world.

O God, the Father who calls us children!
O God who gave His Son Jesus on cross;
O God who does not want us land in hell;
Give us the grace to live a holy life.
Amen.
