Premonition Poem by Ima Ryma

Premonition

The Pharaoh woke up in the night,
Awful dreamt premonition had,
A wall of water of such fright,
Moses smiling so must be bad.
Pharaoh sent for Soothsayer who
Could see the truth but chose to lie,
Seemed the logical thing to do,
Pharaoh being a vengeful guy.
So Soothsayer assured all be
Nothing Pharaoh should fret about,
Just a harmless wet dream really,
Pharaoh could rest easy no doubt.

But Soothsayer thought with a smile,
'The old fart is going Sea Nile.'
