Pretty Clothes Poem by Linyu Mengmeng

Pretty Clothes

When I walk to you, my fingers begin to say
love; faced with a pocket square,
is plain, yet touches a hidden green, light gray,
bright red, around my neck; wind is your sound
and authors the cold, the dance of goose feathers
I am so passionate, yet
understand, a single goose's passion
it circles my finger, feathered fan, silk scarf
pretty clothes, ah
how can this be possible, a winter's snow
fallen on its neck; a flower
smiling on its wings.
