Mama, let the world stop as it is
Mama, let the time stop as it is
Mama, let this landscape remain forever as it is
Why these leaves are falling
Why these birds are flying
Why these ices are melting
Day and night
Night and day
I remain as it is

The school bag is heavy
Though it does not carry
Your hopes and Papa’s dreams
The letters, the numbers, the pictures and the colours
Jump and vary
Mama, let me catch them
Let me rule them
Let me dissect them
Let me place them
My way
In rhythm

Mama, I don’t need a report card
I don’t need any promotion
Don’t compare me and insult my generation
Can’t you see I want to play like an electronic doll
You press the key I throw the ball

Mama, there’s a universe you have not seen
The universe inside me
Many times I open my mouth to tell about it
It plug like a vice in my gullet
You look at my eyes
I look at the sky inside
Don’t get me wrong, Mama
I forget your beautiful eyes
