Prisoner Of The Past Poem by Yen Buen

Prisoner Of The Past

Past that brings sorrow in the darkness night,
Wind blows in a cold breeze, feel the emptiness of life,
A heart that scared to trust and to love tight,
Past that pulls me down, everytime I wanna try.

Remembering, those heartaches that I almost drowned,
Heart that prisons in a cold, dark room
Tears fallin' like a waterfalls.

As I closed my eyes at night,
Wished dreams can get back on those days, to make it right.
In every days coming, makes me old..
Loneliness is killing me more.

Hope love I can find in a store,
Longing for someone I can be with..
Not just for lifetime..
But 'til my breath ends.
