'Priyadarshini' Poem by Shihabudheen K J

'Priyadarshini'

Rating: 5.0

She,

lingering like a wild angel,
swimming through the limitless blueskies,
blooming as lonely emerald petals on the horizon,
adding beauty to cherry hours

How should i describe you, 'priyadarshini'?
For you mean 'beauty of the world'

I met her on a fading twilight
stopped by a flash of holy beauty.
Desired to wander through her virgin seasons, haunted by her hazy awesome eyes.
Wished to follow her eternally
like a raining cloud,
uninvited june paradise she resides in.

When can i touch your lonely steps?
When can i heal your paining heart?
Where should i find that window path
leads to your raining twilights?

When can i touch your lonely steps? When can i heal your paining heart? Where should i find that window path leads to your raining twilights? Is i really possible? Indeed a nice write though...

An obsession takes us to the unexplored world where the paths are untrodden by human beings. Sadness is the ringing note of this poem. It's mood has similarity with the poems of Jibananda Das.Marvelous!
