I thought I can have you back
For that’s what you told.
You promise me that we’ll be together
But maybe the same promise was also given to her.

I didn’t show up to take you away from her.
All I wanted is closure from what we had left.
But it seems that you, yourself doesn’t know
Who to choose from the two of us though.

I tried to suppress this love for you
But instead you let it grew.
And promised something new…
To spend life with just me and you.

I wanted to cry until no tears will fall.
But to my expect it is impossible.
As of now my eyes are dry
And only this heart of mine cries.

Maybe as time goes by
You'll have enough time to simplify
The things happening in reality
And the feelings that will keep us company.

To be loved or to be hated by you
I don't care whichever of the two
Just promise me one thing
That this friendship will remain.
