Promises

Made and broken with no grief
Stolen away like a thief
When it cracks you break apart
everything pours from your heart
Anger is the main feeling
I give up
Those who hurt me must leave
No longer shall I put up with this
We deserve better

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Go from me, summer friends, and tarry not:
I am no summer friend, but wintry cold,
A silly sheep benighted from the fold,
