A cloud only hangs in the sky
As does you and I
and for now we can hang high
and enjoy every second of time
until we die.

I promise not to leave you alone
As long as you promise that we'll be okay
Forever scared to pick up the phone
Because of what the otherside might say

We hang here amongst the clouds
This is what it's like to feel proud
To scream into heaven so loud
Until our lungs fail to make a sound
May our feet never touch the ground

You promise to stay forever
As long as I don't love her
but my heart only beats for now
for as long as it will allow

You don't have to worry don't be scared
This is a life without a care
and I just want to stare
In your brown eyes covered by your hair
Fall from heaven I wouldn't dare
