after everything we've been through
you have to know that i love you
this love isn't like desire
but I'm still filled with fire
all i want is to protect you
to make sure you're never in pain
because all that you've been through
i never want you to go through again
my friend, my sister
we will always be together
no matter where on earth
if i hear that you're hurt
I'll be there, to protect you
I've put my life on the line
and every single time
one thought was in my mind
to protect you from his kind
no one should be hurt
the way that we were
so I'll fight through the pain
and make sure this never happens again
