Proverbs 6: 26...(Of The Adultress) . Poem by James Wade

Proverbs 6: 26...(Of The Adultress) .

Rating: 4.0

V.6: 26. The adultress does hunt for a mans precious life,
V.7: 10. With crafty seductions she lieth in wait.

V.6: 32. The fool will surely go in unto her,
not giving a care for the wrath he'll incur.

V.7: 21. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield,
for want of her charms he lowered his shield.

V.7: 25. He declined to her ways, went astray to her bed,
V.6: 32. and brought swift destruction down upon his own head.

This is most true, God's word does speak right;

V.6: 26. The Adultress does hunt for a mans precious life.
